I grew up in a suburb near Philadelphia and went to University of Maryland for my undergraduate degree. After graduation, I signed on with Friendship as a veterinary assistant and eventually earned my license as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician). I also worked as a Professional Firefighter/EMT in NOVA for 2.5 years before veterinary school. I am thankful for my time in human and veterinary medicine, as it showed me just how passionate I am about helping my furry four-legged patients and working with their pet-parents. I am excited to return to NOVA to live with my fiancé, 2 dogs, cat, and chickens. In my free time, I am a huge fan of CrossFit, watching sports (Go Birds!), working out, comedy, and hitting local breweries with friends.
Friendship has been instrumental in my education and path to becoming a veterinarian. Friendship is one of the largest referral practices in the DC area, but feels like a tight-knit family. Everyone who works at Friendship is committed to practicing best medicine and providing compassionate care to all patients. I am looking forward to being part of the team and learning from so many talented doctors, specialists, and technicians.
