I grew up and went to college in Virginia but have called DC home since moving here just after college. I first got to know Friendship a few years later by working here as a veterinary technician while completing pre-requisite courses for vet school. This was my first glimpse of specialty and emergency medicine and taught me a great deal about high quality advanced care within the veterinary field. I attended Ross University for veterinary school and completed my clinical year of training at Colorado State University. Since graduation, I have completed a rotating internship in Chicago, worked as a staff ER doctor, and undertaken specialized surgical training. I don’t currently have a pet but am always searching for my next canine jogging partner. Apart from revisiting my favorite running paths, I look forward to playing soccer and getting to know all the fun new things around town. I am so thrilled to be coming home both to DC and to FHA!
