Growing up in Baltimore, MD, I’ve always felt a special connection to animals. That connection inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and to dedicate my life to contributing to their health and welfare. I attended the University of Maryland, College Park for my undergraduate education and attained my B.S. in Animal and Avian Sciences. I received my DVM from the Virginia- Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. While I have strong interests in aquatic animal medicine and conservation, my time in veterinary school revealed how much I truly enjoy all facets of the profession.
Outside of work, I am a music lover, a yogi, a huge Ravens fan, and an avid traveler and cross-country road tripper. I also love to hike, to spend time with my beagle named Goose, and to hang out with friends and family. I am so excited to live in DC, to join the Friendship team, and to support pets and their families!
