Dr. Taylor T. Smith is a proud New Orleans native and a recent graduate of Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine. With a strong clinical foundation and an unwavering love for surgery, she’s on a mission to become a board-certified veterinary surgeon—and maybe collect a few more pairs of surgical loupes along the way. Dr. Smith is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care, and she believes that clear communication and genuine connection with pet parents are just as important as the medicine itself. A proud graduate of an HBCU, Dr. Smith is committed to increasing diversity in veterinary medicine and hopes to inspire and mentor future veterinarians from all backgrounds.
When she’s not in scrubs, you can find her in the kitchen trying out new recipes, dancing at concerts, or road-tripping with her two sidekicks: Daphne, her standard poodle, and Luna, her opinionated tabby cat. She’s deeply grateful for the love and support of her family and friends, who have cheered her on every step of the way.
