I grew up in the North suburbs of Chicago. My mom, grandparents, and aunt are from Chevy Chase so I have spent quite some time in the DC/Chesapeake Bay area!
I went to Indiana University and majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After graduating, I took a gap year and worked at MedVet Chicago as a cardiology assistant. The following year, I attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and adopted my cat and soulmate, Purkinje (Kinjie). I developed a strong interest in small animal surgery during my junior surgery lab. After graduating veterinary school, I completed a rotating internship at Michigan State University.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, swimming, drinking bubble tea, making charcuterie boards, online shopping, and going to Martha’s Vineyard with my family.
