Growing up I tried to find ways to be with animals: volunteering at local shelters, training dogs to be service dogs, and later working in animal hospitals in Pennsylvania, working with the University of Vermont’s dairy herd in undergrad, traveling to Ecuador to work with alpacas, and finally making my way to vet school in New York. During my time in each of these places I worked on forging human-animal bonds and sharing my love for this profession.

When I am not working, I love being outdoors (hiking, swimming, kayaking), reading, exploring new places and trying new foods, celebrating any Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with my incredible friends and family. I am beyond excited to be joining Friendship, collaborating with doctors, clients, and caring for so many wonderful furry friends in DC!
