I decided to become a veterinarian after discovering my interest in anatomy during high school. It was initially anatomy that cultivated my passion for diagnostic imaging in veterinary school. I have always been a visual person, and I love diagnostic imaging because it allows us to actually visualize anatomy and pathology. My favorite modalities include MRI and digital radiography, but I also enjoy performing ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and biopsy. When I am not working, I like to watch movies (particularly horror), all things Halloween, cook and try out new foods and drinks, and spend time with friends and my pets.
