I was born and raised in New York City and always had a passion for animal sciences growing up. I moved to South Florida in 2011 to obtain my masters of science in marine environmental science and marine biology. There, I got to work with the various marine animal rescue response teams, sea turtle nesting projects, and manatee projects. I also worked in the clinics at the South Florida Wildlife Center, where I decided to pursue veterinary medicine. In 2019, I moved to Illinois with my partner Chris, dog Austin and two cats Jacques Cousteau and Sylvia Earle to attend the University of Illinois for my doctorate in veterinary medicine. I am very excited to move back to the east coast and enjoy living in the city!
